St Brigids GAA update January 25th

St Brigids GAA
Thank you

St Brigids GAA would like to thank all of our brilliant volunteers from stewards to catering staff and bar and shop staff and of course Fas for all the help hosting the FBD league match against Mayo on Sunday last. Without all of you incredible people hosting events like these would not be possible.

All-Ireland and All Nations Sheep Shearing and Wool Handling Championships

We are delighted to announce that Kiltoom has been awarded the All-Ireland and All Nations Sheep Shearing and Wool Handling Championships 2017 which will be hosted in St Brigids GAA Club grounds. This competition will be hosted in conjunction with the Irish Sheep Shearers Association on the June Bank Holiday weekend.

This event promises to be a memorable weekend and to make this happen a massive effort from the community will be needed. The event will be of huge benefit to local businesses and will be a boost for the development of the local area.
St Brigids are putting in place an outline of a programme of events for this weekend and we would appreciate as many people as possible to get involved in this local community event. We are open to all suggestions that will benefit the overall event.
For any questions, queries or suggestions please e-mail: [email protected] or contact Aine (087) 7438649, Tomás (086) 0876933 or Tommy (086) 4493871.
