Castlerea Musical Society are proud to present the West of Ireland Premiere of ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’ in The Hub, Castlerea from Wednesday 8th February.
The show will run at 8pm nightly with the last show on Saturday February 11th. Tickets are €15 each and there will be special concessions on our opening night for OAP’S and students, with an admission price of €12 each. Family tickets are also available this year with special rates for two adults and two children. The Castlerea Musical Society Booking Line is now open on 087-4676475.
This will be the society’s 48th musical production. Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is based on the 1988 hilarious movie of the same name which starred the legendary actors Steve Martin and Michael Caine. It is set in the French Riviera and tells the story of two men competing to swindle an American Heiress of a considerable sum of money. There is a great twist to this story and suffice to say ‘all will be revealed’ on the night of the show.
Rehearsals began back in October so the cast, crew, committee and everyone involved are busy preparing for what promises to be another outstanding musical success for everyone in Castlerea.
