Ballymoe FC 6-0 Ahascaragh United
The senior team continue to lead the way in the Premier Division and have now made it 10 wins from 10 in the league. The latest victory came away to Ahascaragh Utd. on Sunday where 3 goals in each half resulted in a comfortable 6-0 win. Cathal Connelly opened the scoring with a neat finish. Greg Grogan doubled the lead with a fine run and shot. Gerard Connaughton all but sealed the win before the break when he capitalised on a goalkeeping error to slot home. Cathal Connelly headed in his second of the game early in the second period before substitute Dan Malone scored twice.
Beginners Indoor Soccer Tournament
It is proposed to commence the Indoor Soccer Tournament on Thursday 19th January.
A Registration night will be held at the clubhouse on Thursday 12th of January from 8pm to 8.30pm for all children from First Class to Sixth Class. A parent must attend with the child on the night to sign the registration form. The fee for the tournament is €20.
Ballymoe FC AGM
The club AGM will be held on Saturday 14th of January at 6pm. All players and parents of underage players are requested to attend. This is an opportunity for people to get involved in how the club is run.
