Michael Glaveys GAA Club held its AGM on Saturday evening last and the following officers were elected:

Chairman – Gerry Coffey.

County representatives

Congratulations to Darren, Gary & Andy who were all part of the Roscommon Team who defeated IT Sligo comprehensively in Round 1 of the FBD league on Sunday last. On his debut Andy scored an impressive 3-1. They now face NUIG in round 2 in Ballyforan at 2 p.m. on Sunday next.
Hard Luck to Liam Cregg who played in goals in the Roscommon team who was defeated in the Hastings Cup by Westmeath. They play Longford on Friday 13th in McGann Park at 8 p.m.

Michael Glaveys Dinner Dance

The Clubs annual dinner dance takes place in the Stonehouse Restaurant, Ballinlough on Saturday night next.

Michael Glaveys GAA Lotto

On Saturday night last the club presented Club Lotto winner John Doherty with his winnings of €3,500 in Donnellans Bar.
Special thanks to the following premises for all their support with the Club’s Lotto Sales in 2016: Ballinlough – Todds, Donnellan’s, The Tap, O’Connor’s, Fitzmaurices, Granlahan – The Hillside Tavern, Cloonfad- McGuire’s and Griffin’s
