Hurling
Roscommon will make the long journey to Pearse Park, Dunloy to take on Antrim in Round 2A of the Christy Ring Cup on Saturday at 3:30pm.
Camogie
Kinnegad has been confirmed as the venue for Roscommon’s Irish Daily Star Division 3 Final versus Armagh on Saturday. The game will throw in at 2pm.
Rugby
Roscommon’s Denis Buckley sustained a fracture to his ankle in training last Friday and will be unavailable for at least the next two games against Treviso and defending champions Glasgow Warriors. In related news, Tiernan O’Halloran, AJ MacGinty and Jake Heenan have recovered from their injuries while Bundee Aki suffered a knee injury in this month’s win over Munster. The 26-year-old centre has been ruled out of this week’s trip to Italy and will continue to be progressed under the supervision of the medical and fitness teams
Ladies Gaelic
The County Under 16 Ladies take on Leitrim in Round 3 of the Connacht Championship on Wednesday at 7.30pm in Kilglass.
St Mary’s Park, Carrick on Shannon has been confirmed as the venue for the Roscommon V Leitrim TG4 Connacht Intermediate Championship game on Saturday. Throw-in is at 4pm.
Gaelic Games
Roscommon and St Faithleachs player Ciarain Murtagh finished joint second, with Dublin’s Dean Rock, in the Allianz Football League Division One Scoring Chart. The Team Captain finished with 4-31 (or 43 points) just behind Monaghan player Conor McManus who finished on 2-43 (49 points).
