St Faithleachs Annual Paddy Bolger Tournament
St Faithleachs Minor Club are holding their rescheduled U14 Boys 7 a-side Paddy Bolger Tournament (max of 10 players per panel) at their club grounds in Ballyleague, Co Roscommon on Saturday 10th September. This tournament is one of the longest established tournaments in the country, being held every year since 1983. Past winners include Rhode (Offaly), Salthill (Galway), Ballintubber (Mayo), Shannon Gaels (Longford), St Marys (Leitrim), Cavan Gaels, Clann Na Gael (Roscommon) and the host club.The tournament will be confined to the first 8 teams to enter. The tournament will comprise of 2 groups of 4 teams each, thereby guaranteeing each team at least 3 games. The group winners and runners up qualify for the knock out stages. The Paddy Bolger memorial cup and a set of trophies will be presented to the winning team. The runners up will also receive trophies.
Entry fee for each team taking part €50. Clubs who wish to enter are asked to contact the secretary of St Faithleachs Minor Club secretarybng.
