Fans of Roscommon Sport will have another hectic weekend with action at local, provincial and national level.

There was a good start to the weekend for Roscommon representatives at the Roscommon Minor Camogie Team made it two wins from two when they defeated Kildare by 1-7 to 1-6 in Tremane.
Looking ahead to today’s action there is an early start for the Roscommonn Minor Ladies Footballers when they take on Leitrim in Round 2 of the Connacht Minor Championship at 11:30am in Mohill.
Markievicz Park is the place to be this afternoon for Gaelic Football fans as the Roscommon Minors take on Sligo in the Connacht League at 3pm and that’s followed by the Connacht Under 21 Semi-Final against the same opposition at 5pm.
There’s just one game on the Club scene this afternoon; Elphin host Ballinameen at 3pm.
This evening Ger Walsh is in action against Kildare’s Mickey Dowling in the All-Ireland Emerald Masters 40×20 Handball Final at 5pm in Kingscourt and later, in the same venue, Fiona Tully will contest the All-Ireland Minor 40×20 Handball Final. She faces old rival Hannah Dagg from Kildare who she defeated 25-22 in the She’s Ace Tournament in January
There are two games in the Roscommon and District Football League tonight; Cloonfad United host MD Town at 7:45pm and Ballinasloe Town B host Ahascragh United at 8pm. See the full list of fixtures here
On Sunday the Roscommon Senior Hurlers, who have secured a place in the League Final, will be aiming to maintain their 100% record when they host Tyrone at 2pm in Athleague.
At the same time Boyle Celtic are away to Corrib Rovers in the Connacht Junior Cup Quarter-Final.
