Annual Lotto Renewals:
Our Annual Lotto sales drive is upon us again as all tickets are due for renewal at the end of March so your local Lotto rep will be calling over the coming weeks to seek your continued support of our club Lotto. As always there are lots of payment options from Cash/Cheque/Direct Debit through our online paypal function on our website. There will also be a draw in the 15th April for all renewed members for 5 Cash prizes of €100 so you have a chance of getting your money back straight away.
Men’s Football:
Senior Team:
The Senior team play Strokestown in R3 of the Div 1 league next sunday at 2pm in Strokestown.
Intermediate Team:
The Intermediate team face Creggs in the next round of the Div 2 league on Saturday evening next at 6pm in Creggs.
Minor Team:
The Michael Cooney & Sons Ltd sponsored minor team played Boyle in round 4 of the minor league on Sunday morning. The Gaels were well on top in the first half and had a good lead at the break, Boyle came out strong in the second half and had taken the lead by the 20th minute, Western Gaels fought back and reclaimed the lead, a few well taken scores in the closing stages ensured that Boyle ended on top and secured the points. The team drew with St. Barry’s/Kilglass Gaels in round 3 on Tuesday evening last.
U-16 Team:
The Michael Cooney & Sons Ltd sponsored U-16 team are back in action next Sunday when they play St. Faithleach’s in Frenchpark, check fixtures for confirmed details.
Ladies Football:
Adult Ladies
The Kilrane O’Callaghn & co sponsored adult ladies team play Clan na nGeal next Sunday morning in round 3 of the division one league, check fixtures for confirmed details.
U-16 Ladies Team:
The U-16 ladies lost to St. Barry’s in the final group game of the division 3 championship.
U-12 Girls Team:
The U-12 girls played Castlerea on Sunday in the first round of the Western spring league, the game are back in action next Sunday. Check fixtures for confirmed details. All new players welcome.
Roscommonm County Minor teams:
The club would like to congratulate Shannon Dowd, who was recently made captain of the county minor team. The club wishes Sean, Shannon and the the team and management the best for the campaign ahead.
