Basketball
Congratulations to the Castlerea Community Schools U16 Girls Basketball Team on winning the All-Ireland C title. They defeated Holy Child, Killiney, 45-40 after over time. Read the report and watch the match in full here:
Gaelic Football
The Roscommon Post Primary Senior Football Championship Final between St Aloysius College, Athlone and Scoil Mhuire, Strokestown ended in a draw; 1-14 to 3-8. Details of the replay are to be confirmed.
Earlier today TG4 announced that they will broadcast deferred coverage of Roscommon’s Allianz Football League game against Donegal on February 12th.
eir Sport are set to announce their live coverage tomorrow with Roscommon’s Round 6 game away to Dublin likely to be broadcast live.
Soccer
The Roscommon and District Football League team have been drawn to face the Cavan/Monaghan League Team in the Oscar Traynor Trophy Play-off. The winners will face the Inishowen League in the Quarter-Final
