Athleague retain Senior title
Congratulations to Athleague who retained their Roscommon Camogie Senior title in Rockfield on Saturday after a fantastic game against Four Roads. They now move forward to represent Roscommon in the All Ireland Junior Club series. First up though, they take on Cappataggle in the Connacht Intermediate Cup final on Saturday at 3pm in Duggan Park, Ballinasloe.
For Four Roads, they will take on Kiltormer in the Connacht Junior A Cup final on Saturday at 1:30pm in Duggan Park, Ballinasloe.
Under 16 A Final
In the curtain raiser on Saturday, Padraig Peares defeated Roscommon Gaels, to claim the County Under 16 title. Congratulations and well done to all involved in another fantastic game of camogie.
Special word of thanks to all who helped on Saturday to cater for the large crowd, particularly those from host club, Oran.
Minor Championship continues
Next weekend sees the next round of the Dermot Hughes sponsored minor championship take place. St Dominics host Oran, Roscommon Gaels host Four Roads and Athleague host Tulsk.
Roscommon Camogie County Board AGM
Clubs are reminded that the AGM of the County Camogie Board takes place on Monday next, 24th October, at 8pm in Hannon’s Hotel.
