U 20 Mens Team:
Our U 20 team opened their Div 1 championship campaign with a heavy defeat to Strokestown on sunday morning last. It was an even enough game for 45 minutes with only a goal separating the sides at the break but a late scoring surge from Strokestown ensured they got the points at the final whistle. Final scoreline: Western Gaels 0-08 to Strokestown 4-12.
