James Guihen from Arigna has been chosen as one of 76 graduates from throughout the country selected to take part in the ESB’s Graduate Development Programme.

The three year programme will see the Arigna man and his fellow graduates from the fields of engineering, IT, HR, marketing, trading and finance, work across five business units. These include ESB International, ESB Networks, Generation and Wholesale Markets, Business Services Centre and Electric Ireland.
Minister for Communications, Climate Action & Environment Denis Naughten TD, who has responsibility for ESB Network, met with the graduates at special ceremony ahead in Dublin. Speaking at the event he said “It was a pleasure to meet with the young talented graduates who were selected for the ESB graduate programme. They are a credit to their families and their communities and I know they have a bright future ahead as they embark on their careers. They underwent a tough selection process so I was delighted to have had the opportunity to meet with all the 76 successful graduates at the National Concert Hall in Dublin and to personally congratulate them including James Guihen from Arigna, Mark McClean from Athlone and Chris Heneghan, David Burke, Laura Caulfield and Brian Gordon from Galway” he concluded.
