Roscommon’s Denis Buckley could be out for a number of weeks after sustaining a concussion in Connacht’s game against Glasgow last Saturday.

Buckley will be monitored and continue to follow the Graduated Return to Play protocols under the supervision of the medical team.
As if the heavy defeat to Glasgow Warriors was not bad enough the team suffered a large number of injuries. Centre Peter Robb also sustained a concussion against Glasgow and will follow the same protocols.
Back Row Nepia Fox-Matamua sustained an injury to his hamstring in the Glasgow game and is awaiting the results of a scan to determine the extent of the injury.
Centre Rory Parata injured his knee in a club game at the weekend and will be out of action for a month.
Scrumhalf Caolin Blade sustained a quad haematoma on Saturday and will be monitored ahead of team selection this week. As will Full Back Cian Kelleher who sustained a minor hip injury on Saturday.
There was some good news from the Connacht Rugby Medical Team as Denis Buckley’s fellow prop Conor Carey continued his return to fitness by playing club rugby at the weekend. He is now available for selection.
