Michael Glaveys 2-5 Western Gaels 0-20

Hard luck to the Senior Mens team who were defeated by Western Gaels on a 2-05 to 0-20 scoreline in Castlerea on Sunday last. After a straight rise from Junior to Senior championship in 2 consecutive years they will now face into a relegation final against near neighbours St Croans in order to try and maintain senior status for 2017. Details of the relegation final is tbc.

Underage Results and Fixtures

To finish off the local blitzes the U8 & U10 boys teams participated in the annual Roscommon Hearld Go Games Blitz in the Centre of Excellence on Saturday last. Thanks to the players, managers and parents for their hard work and dedication all year.

Hard luck to our U16 boys team who were defeated by St Michael’s on Sunday morning last.

Well done to the Minor boys team who defeated Boyle in the Championship last week on a scoreline of 3-11 to 2-13. They face St Ronans in the next round on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Ballyfarnan and will also face Castlerea on Friday evening in Ballinlough at 7:30 p.m.

The Minor girls team had a great win over Oran in the championship on Thursday last.
