Roscommon County Council have announced that the R357, from Dysart Village to it’s junction with the Four Roads/ Curraghboy road (L2013), is to be closed to facilitate flood mitigation works at Lisseenamanragh,Dysart.
The Road will be closed from 7:30am on Wednesday next, August 24th to 5pm on Friday October 21st.
The following alternative Routes will be in place:
Traffic travelling south will divert onto the R357 to Four Roads. In Four Roads village traffic to then turn left onto the L2014 signposted Ballyforan and finally on entering Ballyforan village turn left onto the R363 signposted Dysart/Athlone.
Traffic travelling North will take the R363 signposted Ballyforan. In Ballyforan village traffic to turn right onto the L2014 signposted Athleague/Roscommon and finally in Four Roads village turn Right onto the R357 signposted Ballinasloe.
