Well done to the Seniors on defeating Michael Glaveys by 1-9 to 0-11 in the Championship. Scorers: Fintan Cregg 1-3, Martin McCaffrey 0-2, Aidan Murray, Frankie Cregg, Gerry Cregg and John Collins 0-1 each.
We host Western Gaels in the next round on Sunday at 5:45pm. That game will be preceded at 4pm by the meeting of Roscommon Gaels and Boyle.
Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up
The Minors take on Roscommon Gaels in the Championship on Sunday at 12pm in Lisnamult.
The U-16s are due to take on Tulsk in Championship on Tuesday at 7:30pm in Tulsk. We wish Hugo Brady a speedy recovery following his recent injury.
Congratulations to Niall Higgins and the Roscommon U-16s on winning the Ted Webb Shield.
The U-14s host Strokestown in the Championship on Thursday at 7:30pm.
The U-12 A team host Oran in the Summer League on Saturday at 2pm and the U-12 B Team are away to Western Gaels on Sunday at 11am.
The U-12s recently enjoyed a good win over Longford Division One team Clonguish. Well done to all involved.
A great day was had by the U-10s at last Saturday’s Go Games Blitz in Strokestown. The team and Management wish to thank Strokestown for their hospitality. This Saturday they travel to Kilmore.
Elphin GAA Lotto
There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 13, 15, 16 and 20. The Lucky Dip winners were Mona and Regina Fallon, Padraig and Joanna Fox, The Sweeney Family, Windmill Road and Anne Marie Gunn. The Jackpot is now worth €8,300 and you can play on-line here .
