Residents at the Plunkett Nursing Unit Day Care Service in Boyle recently began knitting Woolen Muffs for patients with Dementia and Alzeimers. The Muffs include additives such as Beads, Buttons, Ribbons, Zips, Pockets. The idea of this project is to activate their Touch senses and Memory senses.
