Club Championship
The adult club championship resumes this weekend. We have a double header in Ballyforan on Sunday 7th August. Our Junior A team face Creggs at 2pm. This is followed by the senior team playing Roscommon Gaels at 3:45pm. It Promises to be a day not to be missed so please do try and come along to support our teams.

Entries are being taken for boys and girls under 17 on 1st January 2017 that would have an interest in representing St Brigids in the Figure Dancing competitions this year. Closing date for entries is to Diane by Wednesday 10th august. Meeting for children and parents will be held the Thursday or Friday afterwards. Entries for the other disciplines will be taken later in August. Please contact Diane on 086 7821022 for all entries and further information.
U8 Boys County Blitz
On Saturday last we held an u8 boys blitz in Kiltoom which was a huge success. We were blessed with the weather and it made the day all the more enjoyable for the 10 participating teams. St. Brigid’s had 3 teams as did Roscommon Gaels and both Clan na nGael and St. Dominic’s had 2 teams.
We would like to thank all the clubs for attending. Thanks also to everyone that helped out coaching, refereeing and for providing refreshments.
Super Valu and Lidl competitions
Many thanks to everyone that gave tokens for St Brigids, for the Super Valu kit for clubs and Lidl’s Earn a lidl cash. These tokens mean that we will get new training equipment for all of our club teams.
St Brigids Merchanside
The club shop will be open Friday evening from 8-9pm. Stocking all your St. Brigid’s needs including shorts, socks, Jerseys, gloves, jackets, hats and gum shields.
St Brigids GAA Lotto
At the moment we are getting a great run on the lotto jackpot. With the jackpot so high it is a great opportunity to raise vital funds for our club. It is also very easy to sell the lotto when the jackpot is so high. With this in mind we are asking people if they can take some lotto books and try and sell tickets to family, friends and work colleagues. If you think you coukd sell tickets please contact Barry on 086-8504676.
