St Croans “Reach for the Stars”

St Croans GAA Club and Ballintubber Tidy Towns/Heritage proudly presents “Reach for the Stars” the ultimate fundraising variety show. An all singing all dancing extravaganza, showcasing our local talent with 24 Acts from Ballymoe and Ballintubber taking to the floor. Warm up those vocal cords, clear the diary and get ready to cast your vote as “Reach for the Stars” helps raise much needed funds while providing an extremely enjoyable 4 nights of entertainment. The first heat takes place Friday 24th June in Eddie’s Bar Ballymoe followed on Saturday the 25th with two heats in Kenny’s Lounge Ballintubber and Jackie’s Lounge in Ballymoe, all starting at 9:30pm.  

– Acts in Eileen’s Ballymoe – Padraig Gorham, Sandra Gunning, Seamie Connolly and Gabriel Dolan 
– Acts in Jackie’s, Ballymoe – Joe Grady, The G & T’s, Jane Tobin and Wild Card 
– Acts in Kenny’s Ballintubber – Carmel Leech, Brazilian Dancers, Tommy Egan, Sean Flynn, Arlene Feehily, Billy Raftery, Mary Murray and Mary Cunnane 

The fourth heat takes place Saturday the 2nd July in Garvey’s Bar Ballintubber.  

All qualifying acts from the 4 heats go forward to the final in the Racecourse Roscommon on Tuesday the 5th of July. Best of luck to all competing and we hope to see you all out at the heats showing support for the abundance of talent that will be on display over the next few weeks.  

St Croans 50-50 Draw

Congratulations to Kevin Smyth this week’s 50/50 draw winner, winning €420. 

Results and Fixtures

Our Senior team were in action against Western Gaels last Sunday in the Senior Championship in O’Rourke Park, Castlerea. The full-time scoreline was St Croan’s 1-9 (12) Western Gaels 2-11 (17) on what was a very wet day with terrible conditions.

Our Junior men are out against St Ronan’s in Enfield at 2pm next Sunday, 26th in a Division 4 League clash.
