Details of Scrabbagh NS 50th Celebrations confirmed

Scrabbagh National School, Kilmore will celebrate their 50th Anniversary on the June bank holiday weekend and have a programme of events for all the family.

The celebrations will get under way on Friday the 3rd of June at 7pm with a blessing of the School and the launch of the Souvenir Booklet, followed by refreshments in the school.
Then on Saturday a Family fun day will take place in the School grounds from 2pm to 5pm. There’ll be Bouncy Castles, a Family sports day, BBQ, Face painting, Music and much more. Old school items will be on display and there will be a special display of GAA medals won by former pupils, including All-Ireland U-21 and Minor medals. At 9pm that night the celebrations will continue in The Silver Eel, with Music by Alan Clarke. Food will be served on the night and tickets cost just €10 which will include a meal.
