A round-up of Wednesday’s stories from the Roscommon Sports scene:

Congratulations to the County Under 16 Ladies team on their 6-28(46) to 2-2(8) win over Leitrim in the Connacht B Final.

Elsewhere, the County Under 17 Hurlers were defeated 3-21 to 2-6 by Galway City & West in Round 3 of the Celtic Challenge.

In the Semi-Finals of the Roscommon and District Football League Division One Cup Shiven Rovers defeated Ahascragh Utd 4-1 and Brazukas defeated Glen Celtic 4-0. The Final takes place on Saturday at 7pm in the League Grounds, Lecarrow.

The rescheduled Roscommon Post Primary Senior Football Championship Final took place this evening and ended in a comfortable win for CBS Roscommon. They defeated Scoil Mhuire, Strokestown by 3-10 to 0-6.
