Kilbride GAA Lotto
The lotto draw was held in Foxes Bar on Saturday night. There was no winner of the €2.100 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 18,22,25 & 27. The five €20 winners drawn were Emer O Rourke, Eddie Naughton, James O’Connor, Martin Hunt & Sharon McDermott. The next draw will take place in The Red Parrot on the 28th May when the jackpot will be €2,250.

Kilbride Minors 2-11 St Aidans 3-13
Unfortunately our Minor were beaten by St Aidan’s in Ballyforan on Monday in the league semi-final. Despite trailing by 13 points at half-time they fought back bravely in the second half but their effort fell short losing by five.

Under 8s Go Games Blitz
A successful U8 Go Games Blitz was held in Kilbride on Saturday 7th May and despite the poor weather a great day was had by all. We would like to thank the clubs who participated, all who helped on the day especially the ladies who provided the refreshments and also our Referees Dan O’Neill, Darragh O’Connor & Sean Hanley who did a great job.

Ladies Football
The Senior ladies played two useful challenge matches over the weekend against Garrycastle and the Westmeath minors and continue to train on Wednesday and Friday so please make every effort to attend . They are due to play St. Brigids in the league next weekend in Kiltoom, day and time tbc.
The U 14 girls began their league campaign last Wednesday with a home game against Kilmore /Elphin . The visitors were slightly stronger on the day winning on a scoreline of 5-12 to 2-12 . Next game is away to Éire Óg on Wednesday 18th May time tbc

U 12 girls travelled to a sun soaked Strokestown pitch on Sunday evening for their first competitive game of the year , unfortunately we were missing some players but the girls played out of their skins in very warm conditions and even though they lost they will have learned alot . Next game is Sunday 25th May at home to Shannon Gaels .time tbc Details of training will be sent by text during the week.

There was a great turnout for U 6 , U 8 and U 10 training last Monday evening and this will continue every Monday from 7 to 8. Don’t forget gumshield and a drink!

County Representatives
Congrats to Aoife Leonard , Ellen O’Beirne and the Roscommon U 14 team on winning the Connacht B Final last Sunday evening.
Hard luck to Siobhan Tully and the Roscommon Ladies team who came so close to beating Leitrim on Sunday thus missing out on a place in the Connacht final .
Best of luck to Blaithin o Beirne and the Co u 16 team in their Connacht B Final on Wednesday evening against Leitrim.
