Boyle GAA Lotto
Michael and Monica Gilmartin and Tom McKeon were €20 winners in the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in Creighton’s. The house prize was won by Michael Kerins. The jackpot wasn’t won and it will be at another new record of €11,500 for next Saturday night’s draw which will be held in Daly’s Bar and Lounge. Team E will be in charge. Tickets may be purchased in many outlets in Boyle.
Results and Fixtures
The McGovern Directional Drilling Seniors had a convincing win in the first round of the Hodson Bay Hotel Group Senior Football Championship over Castlerea St Kevins in Abbey Park on Sunday.
The James Lannon Motor Works U16s were defeated by a much stronger St Aidans in the Division 3 League on Sunday evening in Kilbride. Although beaten, the lads and their management team have had a successful season in reaching the final and they have the championship to look forward to.
