Cycling
Roscommon’s Daire Feeley finished second overall in the Ballinrobe Three-Day Cycle. In the process he finished second in the Climbing Classification and fifth in the Sprint Classification.
Soccer
The Hodson Bay Celtic Under 15 and Under 16 teams won the Midlands Cup Finals today in Tullamore
Ladies Gaelic
The Roscommon Minors enjoyed a comfortable 10-11 to 3-3 win over Leitrim in the Connacht B Final.
Sunday
Gaelic Games
Roscommon overcame a late fightback from New York to book a place in the Connacht Senior Championship Quarter-Final. Read our report here

Creggs Under 17s suffered a 12-20 defeat to Corinthians in the Connacht League Final
Soccer

Handball
Siobhan Tully defeated Linda Connolly 9-15, 15-7, 11-6 in the Ladies B Final at the National 40×20 Championships.
Saturday
Handball
At the 40×20 Adult Nationals, Fiona Tully was defeated in her two group games and Rikki O’Gara was defeated in the Mens Open Quarter-Final.
Ladies Gaelic
It’s turning out to be a day to forget for Roscommon teams – the Intermediate Ladies have been defeated by Leitrim in the TG4 Connacht Championship on a scoreline of 2-12 to 4-12. They now await the outcome of Leitrim V Sligo to see if they progress.
Hurling
Roscommon suffered a 1-12 to 2-14 defeat to Antrim in Round 2A of the Christy Ring Cup. Antrim go through to the Semi-Final and Roscommon will face either Down or Kildare in a Quarter-Final next Saturday.
Camogie
Roscommon suffered a 2-9 to 3-11 defeat to Armagh in the Irish Daily Star National League Division 3 Final. Match Report here
Friday
Soccer
Two goals from Lee McKillen and one from Aaron Calpin helped Boyle Celtic defeat Calry Bohs 3-0 to win the Great Southern Hotel Sligo-Leitrim Super League. They went the season unbeaten – drawing their first and winning the remaining 21 games.
