St Barrys Centenary Variety Show

The Club hosts a Variety Show in the Clubhouse on this Thursday night (28th of April). This concert is part of the celebrations to mark 100 years since the formation of the St Barry’s club. A hard working group have been working on the show for several weeks now, and a great night’s entertainment is promised. Curtains up at 7.30pm.

St Barrys-Kilglass 1-6 Elphin-Ballinameen 3-7

Our U16 Lads endured a frustrating evening in their Division 3 league play-off against Elphin/Ballinameen on Tuesday evening last . In spite of dominating possession for long periods, we were wasteful in attack, and were punished by a more efficient Elphin/Ballinameen side. After an even start, the home side scored 2 quick goals, and in spite of enjoying a lot of possession, we trailed 2-2 to 0-4 at half-time. The second half followed a similar pattern to the first, with Elphin/Ballinameen finding scores easier to come by, despite some good work from Raymond Leonard and Eoin Murphy in the St Barry’s/Kilglass defence. St Barry’s/Kilglass finished strongly with a flurry of late scores including a well taken goal by substitute Oisin Fallon, but it was too little too late, and than lost out on a scoreline of 3-7 to 1-6.
Team: Ray Leonard, Eoin Murphy, Bryan Rogers, Thomas Mahedy, Alan Mcguinness, Adam Coggeran, Ciaran McManus, Ciaran McVeigh, Emmett Burke, Fiacra Leavey, Eoin Diffley, Callum Kidd, Issac Thompson. SUBS: Mark Gaynor, Alan Cox Oisin Fallon (1-0) Ciaran McCormack, Conor Murphy, Darragh Humpston, John McLoughlin.
