A man has been airlifted to Hospital in Galway following an accident on the N5 at Lissapuca, east of Tulsk.
The accident occurred at the junction close to “Simpson’s Pub” and Strokestown Fire Brigade were among those who attended the scene. Traffic was delayed for a time and the road is set to be closed for a time to enable an examination of the scene.
The extent of the man’s injuries are not known at this time.
