Shannon Gaels Easter Camp
The Camp took place last week with over 60 kids participating. Well done to everyone involved and thank you all the coaches for their help throughout the three days.
Results and Fixtures
Our Kilmore/Shannon Gaels U16s played Strokestown last Saturday but lost out to much stronger Strokestown side. They play their last league game this Tuesday evening against St. Failes in Ballyleague at 6.45. Senior: Our adult team are due to play Castlerea in the Tansey cup on this Saturday evening in Croghan at 5pm.
Our U16 Ladies were beaten by Boyle on Sunday evening they are due to play St Dominics next Sunday in Croghan at 4pm in the 5th and final round of championship. Also on Sunday our adult ladies will play kilglass away at 12 noon in the nine a side league and finally just to round off the day our u12 girls play Elphin/Kilmore also in Croghan at 7pm. So a busy weekend ahead.
Well done to Caithlin, Seonna, Orla and Zoe and the rest of the Roscommon U14 team who had a great win over Leitrim on Saturday. Hard luck to Caoimhe, Elaine and Christina in the Roscmmon minor ladies on their one point loss to Galway last bank holiday Monday. This was an excellent skillful game and brilliant team work which was a pleasure to watch. They are now through to the connaught B final.
