Shannon Gaels adult team play Castlerea B in Tansey Cup on Saturday evening 12th March at 5pm in Croghan. Well done to Roscommon senior team and management on another great win last weekend.
Kilmore/Shannon Gaels U16s recorded a great win over Tulsk in Division 2 league on Saturday evening last. They trailed by 6 points at half time but put in a huge effort in the second half to come out winners on a scoreline of 4-5 to 1-10.
Child protection Workshop
Kilmore & Shannon Gaels are hosting a Child protection Workshop on Friday night week the 11th of March at 7pm in Kilmore Club Rooms. It is an essential requirement that any one working with U18’s in a Coaching or administrative capacity completes this course . Coaches and administrative people involved with the adults teams are required to complete this if there are any minors playing with one of the adult teams .
It is about 2.5hours in duration and you will receive your certificate of completion on the night . Please contact Jarlath O’Connor minor Chairperson if interested.

Ladies News
Congratulations to our u16 girls on their win today over Kilmore/Elphin in the first round of the league. The second round will be played next Sunday v St Faithleaith’s in Ballyleague @ 4pm.
Congratulations also goes to Tess Murtagh and the Roscommon Ladies on their win over Fermanagh on Sunday.
Our adult ladies start the year with a 9 a side league game against neighbours Kilmore in Kilmore @ 12 noon on Sunday next 13th March.
