Roscommon Ladies Gaelic Roscommon Ladies Football

Roscommon Ladies Gaelic Football held a very successful underage presentation evening in the Percy French Hotel, Strokestown.

There was a fantastic turnout of players from all age groups from U-14 to Minor. Special guests were Mayo Ladies Footballer Cora Staunton and Roscommon Senior Footballer Cathal Cregg. Presentation of medals were made to all team. Connacht B Championship medals were presented to our U-14 and U-16 teams while Connacht B Championship winner medals and All-Ireland B runners-up medals were presented to our minor team.

Cora Staunton gave a very inspirational speech encouraging all young players present to continue playing football and wearing their county jersey with pride, She complimented Roscommon Ladies County Board on the work they were doing and has no doubt that Roscommon will be back playing senior football in the near future. Inspirational words from such an inspirational person.
