Kilbride 3-05 St Faithleachs 0-14

Our intermediate men’s team played St Faithleach’s in the league in Kilbride on Saturday. Three Darren Clabby goals helped Kilbride earn a well deserved draw.

Kilbride 2-11 St Aidans 1-06

Our minors played St Aidans in Ballyforan on Thursday. Kilbride came away with the spoils after a fantastic team performance. Kilbride GAA Lotto

The lotto draw was held in Foxes Bar on Saturday night. There was no winner of the €1,650 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 1, 23,24 & 29, The five €20 winners drawn were Aidan Banahan, Hollywell; Bernie Glancy, Racecourse Road; C Fullard; Jessica Lohan & Catherine O Dowd. The next draw will be held in the Red Parrot on Saturday 17th September when the jackpot will be €1,800.

Ladies Round-up

We had another very successful week on the playing pitch for our teams.

On Friday evening our u 14 girls played Eire Og in the championship and had a convincing win 2-15 to 1-01. All players were instrumental in this victory . They have now qualified for the Division 2 quarter final and this game takes place in Kilbride next Friday evening at 7 p.m. against St.Barrys . Wishing everyone involved the best of luck.

Our minors played their Division 2 semi final on Sunday morning in Kilbride against Padraig Pearses. A brilliant team effort resulted in another great win winning on a scoreline of 7-14 to 3-09. They are now through to the Division 2 Minor final . Opposition date and venue tbc. Congrats and well done to all involved.

The U 10 and U 8 blitz in Oran had to be postponed due to heavy rain on Saturday morning and the girls were disappointed . Hopefully Oran will be able to reschedule to another day . Training continues every Monday from 7 to 8 , don’t forget your gumshields and drinks.

All-Ireland Trip

The club are hoping to travel to the Ladies All Ireland Finals day on the 25th September bringing our U-12 and U-14 teams. Details have been sent by text to the parents .

County Final preparations

The club is busy preparing for the upcoming Senior Ladies final on Sat 17th September and we are asking everyone to get involved in this historic occasion by putting up a Kilbride flag at their gate , in their garden etc We are running a cake sale after mass next Sunday in the room adjacent to the church . Please support by supplying confectionery or by purchasing on the day. Cakes, tarts, buns etc can be dropped to Winnie Walsh on Saturday or to the room before mass on Sunday.
