After months of planning & preparation & weeks of practising & perfecting, Oran GAA Club are ready to take to the stage with its fundraiser Strictly Come Dancing.
The 30 wonderful dancers will take to the stage on Saturday night next in the Radisson Athlone, doors open at 6.30 with the show beginning at 8pm sharp. There is have a wonderful show planned with 15 different & equally entertaining dance styles on show. The dancers have put in amazing work & the show promises to be every bit as amazing. Once the dancers have wowed us, DJ Seamus Duke will take to the stage & keep us all dancing into the wee hours. All funds raised will go towards the development & upkeep of the grounds in Rockfield, the drainage of the new pitch & the completion of a walking track around the field, this work will go on to benefit the community for years to come & as anyone who is familiar with Rockfield will know that it is a very busy pitch with Oran GAA fielding teams in football, hurling, ladies football & camogie from U8 to adult level. A limited amount of tickets are still available from any of our dancers or any committee member. Let’s get out there & show support to the dancers who have put in such effort, a great night is ensured!
