Championship Semi-Final: Kilbride Ladies V Strokestown
All roads lead to Ballyleague next Saturday 27th August as our Senior ladies contest the Senior championship semi final against our neighbours Strokestown. Throw in is at 7 p.m. for this eagerly anticipated contest so we encourage everyone to travel the short distance to Ballyleague to cheer on the team. Support will be very much appreciated. Best of luck to the management and the team. Congrats also to manager Ollie Lennon on his recent appointment as GPO with Roscommon GAA .
Kilbride 1-5 St Dominics 4-10
Our intermediate men’s team suffered a heavy defeat to St Dominic’s in the league in Kilbride on Friday evening. They play Oran in the final championship group game in Ballyforan on Sunday at 6.30pm. We wish Conor Devaney a speedy recovery following his injury against Tulsk.
Underage Round-up
Our U 16 teams play Eire Og in the championship next Sunday in Kilbride at 11am next Sunday.
Our U14 boys play Western Gaels in the Championship in Kilbride on Thursday evening at 7.30pm.
Our U12 boys made it five wins from five in the championship against St Ciaran’s on Saturday winning on a scoreline of 11-13 to 3-05. They have now qualified for the Division 2 final.

Ladies Underage Round-up
Our minor ladies team travelled the short distance to Tulsk last Thursday evening but unfortunately lost out to a stronger side on the night . St Marys 7-06 Kilbride 3-03. They have finished in position 2 in their group and a place in the semi final . Date time , venue and opposition all to be confirmed.
Our U 14 girls were presented with beautiful tops from Ward and Burke Construction ahead of their first championship game on Monday evening in Kilbride against Four Roads. The club is very thankful to Ward and Burke Constuction Ltd for this generous sponsorship. Good luck to all concerned in the upcoming competition.
St Croans travelled to Kilbride last Monday evening with their U 8 and u 10 teams for some friendly matches , All the girls had great fun and their football skills are improving every week. Thanlks to Katie and Aoife for refereeing. Next game for this group takes place on Monday in Kilbride against Oran.
