The Annual Club Rossie Membership draw takes place on May 14th next so tickets are on sale now from all our club executive. Ladies Football
Adult Ladies Team:
The Kilrane O’Callaghan & Co sponsored adult ladies team played Eire Og in round 2 of the division 1 adult league, despite a shaky opening quarter the teams were level at the break, a few early scores in the second half gave the girls the lead, they held this lead and pushed on to secure the win. The girls are back in action next Sunday when they welcome Clan na nGael to frenchpark for round 3 of the league. Check fixtures for confirmed details.
U12 Ladies Team:

Men’s Football
Senior Team:
The Devine and Co sponsored Senior Team had a great start to the championship year with an impressive win against Strokestown on Saturday evening last. Despite very wet conditions Western Gaels controlled most of the game and ran out comfortable winners ona final scoreline of 1-13 to 0-08. See full match report inside.

Congratulations to Aidan Dowd who capped a fine week personally for himself by making his Senior championship team debut and becoming the Captain of the Roscommon Minor Team for 2016.
Junior Team:
The Junior team commence their Championship campaign next Saturday evening when we face Padraig Pearses in Kiltoom at 5.30pm. Best of luck to the team and management for the year ahead.

Our Drury Oils Ltd sponsored U 14 team lost out on the slimmest of margins to Eire og on Thursday evening last on a final scoreline of Eire Og 2-13 Western Gaels 4-06.
