Kilbride GAA Lotto
The lotto draw was held in The Red Parrot on Saturday night. There was no winner of the €1,950 jackpot. The numbers drawn were 8,11,15 and 23. The five €20 winners drawn were, Elish Fannon, Mattie Kelly, Padraig & Sandra Shanagher, Damien & Martha Gavigan and Adrian Devine. The next draw will take place in Foxes Bar on Saturday 14th May when the Jackpot will be €2,100.

There are 17 people still standing in our ‘Last Man Standing’ competition following the weekends matches.

Results and Fixtures
The first round of the Intermediate championship takes place on Saturday when Kilbride take on Fuerty in Orchard Park, Elphin at 5.30pm.
It was a quiet week on the playing front with a number of matches postponed.
Our Minors have reached the semi-final of the league. They play St Aidan’s in Ballyforan on the 10th May.
Our U14 boys have a busy week ahead. They play Kilglass/St Barry’s on Tuesday in Kilbride at 7.30pm. They then travel to Tulsk on Thursday. Throw in is again at 7.30pm.
Our two U12 teams take on St Dominic’s on Saturday in Knockcroghery. The Division 2 Match is at 12pm followed by the Division 6 match at 1.30pm.
Ladies
There will be a short but VERY IMPORTANT meeting for parents and their U 10, U 8 and U 6 daughters next Monday 9th May at 7 p.m. in the clubhouse followed by training ( weather permitting ) until 8 p.m. Players must be registered in order to train. Gumshields are also compulsory. Please contact Sandra for more information on 086 0610540.
U 12 girls played St Marys last week and although we were missing a number of players we still played a match which was enjoyed by all. Training details will be sent by text during the week . The girls first competitve game is scheduled for next Sunday 8th May at 6 p.m. away to Ballinameen. Best of luck to Erica, Margaret, Johnny and all the players.
U 14 girls are busy training and preparing for their upcoming championship. Two challenge games are planned for the week ahead, one on Wednesday at 7 in Kilbride against Oran and the other in Ballintubber on Saturday at 12 noon.
Senior girls begin their championship on Sunday morning with a home game against Clan na nGael at 12 noon. Best of luck to all involved.
Hard luck to Siobhan Tully and the Roscommon ladies who lost to Leitrim last Saturday. Well done to Blaithin O’Beirne and the Roscommon U 16 team who defeated Leitrim during the week. Best of luck also to Ellen O’Beirne, Aoife Leonard and the Roscommon U 14 team who contest the Connacht B final next Saturday against Leitrim (time and venue tbc).
