The Cut for The Club 4Some Qualifier played on Sat 16 & Sun 17 last came at 31 points with five teams on that mark, unfortunately for Liam Bruen & Chris Lowe their 31 was the one to miss out, last pair in The Barber & Liam Quinn and their reward was to draw top seeds Jim King & Adrian Beirne who had 39 points best score of the weekend. 2nd in qualifying Pat King & Andy Connellan on B9 from Gerry Emmett & Michael Keville both on 37 points. The big names to miss out were cousins Shane Kelly & John Coffey, Paul Roche & Albert Hogg, Sean Bohan & Fiachra Neary, Keith Duignan & Gordon Kavanagh all potential Jimmy Bruen pairings, maybe not!

Inter Club Golf
This year the Inter Club scene tees off earlier than normal as the National 4Ball aka The Cecil Ewing starts on May 7 with an away fixture V Strandhill, Sean Gilmartin is Captain.
Murphy Cup Open
This weekend we have the Murphy Cup Open in aid of North West Hospice and in memory of Damien “Murph” who died in 2010. Ladies & Gents Open Stableford all over this May Bank Holiday Weekend, book online or by calling the club.

Carrick Golf Club US Masters Challenge
The top two selections in our Masters Challenge had the same six golfers,
but in different order, therefore Padraic King by having Danny Willett as his second pick beat Kevin McLoughlin on the count back for top prize of €500.
McLoughlin picked up €300 for second place and last year’s winner Brian Crowe took third place.
