St. Coman’s Fiona Tully qualified for the All-Ireland Minor Ladies Handball Final with a 21-11, 21-15 win over Niamh Coleman in Omagh today.

Roscommon defeat Down by 1-12 to 0-6 in the Allianz Football League. Read our report here

Ladies Football
In the Lidl Ladies National Football League Roscommon had a comfortable 3-15 to 2-2 win over Fermanagh.
Hurling
Roscommon survived a late fight back to defeat Fingal by 1-14 to 0-16 and secure their third win in a row. They sit on the top of Division 3A and are aware to Warwickshire next Saturday.

Gaelic Football
In the O’Rourke Cup – Adult Football League Division One Clann na nGael defeated Elphin by 1-13 to 0-4 while in the Tansey Cup – Adult Football League Division Three Western Gaels B defeated neighbours Castlerea St Kevins B by 1-14 to 2-7.
Handball
Aoife McDonagh, representing St. Comans Handball Club, has qualified for the All-Ireland Ladies Junior B Singles Final following a 21-6, 22-13 win over Monaghan’s Niamh Farrell.
Camogie
Despite a late rally the Convent of Mercy Camogie team suffered an agonising 1-8 to 1-7 defeat to St Josephs Rochfortbridge in the All-Ireland C Final.
In the National Camogie League Roscommon came from 1-1 to 0-2 down at half-time to secure a a 0-5 to 1-2 Draw with Kerry in Tralee.
Hurling
CBS Roscommon are through to the Masita GAA All Ireland Post Primary Schools Senior C Hurling Final following a 1-8 to 0-8 win over Our Ladys and St Patricks, Belfast. They will now face Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal, Blarney for the Michael Cusack Cup on March 16th.
Roscommon recorded a 2-15 to 1-11 win over Wicklow in the Leinster Minor Hurling League.

Kilglass Gaels B conceded their Adult Football League Division 4 game to Clann na nGael C
Soccer
Castlerea Celtic defeated MD Town 2-0 in The Herald Premier Division of the Roscommon and District Football League and in the Norio’s Takeaway Division 1 Shiven Rovers defeated Loughglynn Utd 5-0.
Rugby
Two Roscommon men, Denis Buckley and Danny Qualter help cement their place at the top of the PRO12 Rugby League by defeating Edinburgh 28-23.
Pool
In the first leg of Roscommon Pool League Sheild Quarter-Final: Eddie’s defeated Farrell’s 5-4 and Silver Eel versus The Forge has been postponed until Sunday night.
In the last round of the Cup The Lifebelt defeated The Sportsmans Inn 4-3, An Bothar Rua defeated Kennys 4-3 and The Silver Eel defeated Foxes 4-3. The results mean that Foxes and Charlies finish top on 48 points, The Silver Eel finish 3rd on 44 points and An Bothar Rua grab the fourth Semi-Final spot with 42 points.
