Kiltoom’s Niall McInerney was part of the UCD panel which defeated DCU by 0-10 to 2-2 in the Final of the Sigerson Cup. The Man of the Match Award was presented by Ballyforan native Gerry Tully, who is the Chairperson of the GAA Higher Education Committee.
Ciaráin Murtagh of St Faithleach GAA Club was a Corn Na Mac Lèinn winner with Marino Institute today defeating University of Ulster, Magee by 5-21 to 1-8

Three Roscommon men will feature in tomorrow’s Sigerson Cup Finals:
Niall McInerney of St Brigids came on as a sub for UCD in their comfortable 4-12 to 1-9 win over UL, who featured Elphin’s Shane Killoran started a centre half forward.
In the second Semi-Final DCU survived a late fight back from UUJ to claim a 1-14 to 0-13 victory. Boyle GAA Club ‘s Enda Smith scored two points and Ultan Harney of Clann na nGael , named at full-forward, scored a point.
Tomorrow’s Final will be show live on TG4 and coverage begins at 2:15pm
