The u14 team are through to the quarter final on the cup following a derby victory over Lough Harps. Dylan Coleman, Max Syron, Darren Keadin, Daniel Fagan, Conor Ruane and Michael Keadin were on target.
Our u12 side played their first premier division game and defeated CP Ajax by 3-0. The sides were scoreless at the break with Ajax missing a penalty. In the second half Cloonfad upped the ante and ran out convincing winners thanks to goals from Robert Heneghan (x 2) and Niall Heneghan.
The “B” team contest away to Ballinagare on Sunday morning was not played when the Referee failed to arrive.
Fixtures
Cloonfad host Dunmore next Saturday in the Division 1 Cup Quarter-Final. Kick off is at 7.30pm.
The second team are away to Moylough on Sunday.
