A few good days on the pitch saw our Under 14 and Under 16 teams have big wins over St Aidans. A lot of hard work and sharp shooting saw the lads run out clear winners.
On Sunday morning our ladies take played St Brigids on home turf. Kilglass Gaels fought well in the first half playing with the wind but two St Brigids goals saw us trailing by two points at half time. Facing an uphill battle Kilglass ladies dug deep and ran out winners 7-12 to 5-7. It was great to see this hardworking team getting a win under their belts.
It was then up to the senior lads to travel to Shannon Gaels in the 3rd league game. The teams were evenly matched in the first 15 minutes but then Shannon Gaels pulled away and led by 6 at the break. But Kilglass got a second wind and moved up a gear in the 2nd half to win 3-12 to 2-9 in a tough game of ball!
Well done to all teams and management over the weekend,
