Four Roads 3-9 St Croans 3-6
The Junior girls took to the field on Sunday last, on a cold and windy day, in Tisrara against St Croans. This was the first competitive outing for the majority of girls since last August, but to watch them you would have been forgiven in thinking that they had not had any break in that time. Their play was fluid, with great carrying of the ball, support play, blocking, and playing as a unit. All the girls from No 1 to No 17 played their part in the game. They girls emerged victorious on a scoreline of 3-9 to 3-6.
Their next game is on March 5th at home to Castlerea.
Training continues next Sunday – details to be confirmed.
