Following their great win over St. Aidans last week-end Kilglass Gaels/St. Barrys U-13 team made their way to Ballyleague on Sunday morning last to play St. Ciarans in the U-13 Feile competition. Unfortunatly the Fuerty Athleague based outfit were the stronger team on the day. Thank your to both the team and management for the time and effort over the last number of weeks.
Kilglass Gaels/St. Barrys U-20 team bowed out or the U-20 championship against Kilbride in an exciting encounter played in Kilbride on Sunday last,There was nothing between the sides all through the game indeed this game was in the melting pot up to the dying seconds of the game, there was only one point between the sides with two minutes of injury time played 1-08 to 1-9 before Kilbride’ hit for their second goal on the stroke of full time. to leave it Kilglass/St Barrys 1-08 Kilbride 2-09 at the final whistle.
