Kilbride 3-11 Kiltubrid 5-9
Every journey must come to an end and that was the case for our gallant senior ladies team on Saturday evening when they were beaten by Kiltubrid in the Connacht semi-final. Once again the girls poured every ounce of energy they had into their performance and played superb football providing great entertainment for the huge support that travelled yet again to cheer them on.
The club would like to say a huge thank you to selectors Mike Murray , Michael Tully, Padraig O’Beirne and to our wonderful manager Ollie Lennon for all their work and dedication over the last year.
It has been an incredible journey! Also to Elaine, Carmel, Sandra and the ladies committee for all the work that went on in the background. We would also like to thank our loyal supporters who travelled to the various games along the way. The team really appreciated the vocal support at the games.
Underage Round-up
Next weekend is a huge weekend for our underage teams. Our minors are in the Division 4 championship final against St Aidans on Saturday in Knockcroghery with the throw-in at 5pm.
Our ladies minor team are also in action in the Division 2 final next Sunday in Tarmonbarry at 12 noon. The match is against old rivals St. Marys and promises to be yet another mouthwatering clash.
We wish the management team of Michael Tully, Mike Clabby, Eilish Fannon Maire Lohan and all the players the very best of luck.
Once again we hope our loyal supporters will travel once again to cheer on both teams .

The Hodson Bay sponsored U10 team had a great day at the County Blitz in Ballyhaunis recently thanks to Roscommon Herald and Roscommon Games Dev for organising the event. They enjoyed playing Kilmore, Elphin and Tulsk in the Shane Kelly Tournament in Strokestown recently, thanks to Strokestown for the invite.

On Oct 1st the Hodson Bay sponsored U10 competed in the Kilglass Tournament winning the Pauric Murphy Perpetual Cup in an excellent Team performance beating a strong St Barrys Team who never gave up till the final whistle.

Gerry O’Malley Cup Tour
Members of the Ladies Senior panel recently visited Roxboro NS, Scoil Bhríde Four Mile House , Lean ar Aghaidh and RSG Derrane with the Gerry O’Malley Cup. Thanks to all who facilitated the visits and for the great welcome we received.
The visits to both national schools were particularly memorable as past pupils met present pupils and enjoyed some banter.
