Earlier this month students of the Roscommon Further Education Centre, Lisnamult held a special Pamper Day and raised much needed funds for the Marie Keating Foundation.
The public were invited to avail of special treats such as facial, nail file and polish, hairdressing etc as well as tea and home-baked goodies. A total of €360 was donated by attendees to the Marie Keating Foundation.
The Foundation provides information on all the key cancers, including breast cancer, cervical cancer, throat cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer and bowel cancer. It does not receive any Government funding and all of their services are provided free of charge.
