Three people were hospitalised following a two car crash near Tulsk this morning.
The head on collision occurred at approximately 11:30am on the N5 approximately 3km west of the village at Carrowntoosan. Fire Crews from Elphin and Strokestown along with Ambulance Services attended the scene. The Driver and passenger of one car were taken to Hospital by Ambulance while the driver of the second Car was removed to University Hospital Galway by Air Ambulance. The seriousness of their injuries are not known.
The Road was closed until approximately 4pm.
