Mens Football
Our Intermediate team did not get the start they had hoped for in this year’s championship when they suffered defeat at the hands of St. Dominic’s at a sun soaked Orchard Park on Sunday. The focus now shifts to the championship appointment with St. Barry’s at Kilglass next Sunday at 2.00pm.

The under 12 mixed division 6 team played St. Ronan’s at Ardcarne Park on Tuesday evening.
Ladies
Hard luck to the under 16 girls who were beaten by a stronger St. Ciaran’s team in the county final. Thanks to the girls for their hard work and to their trainers Kevin Guckian and Clive Gillespie and also to Niamh Sheerin and Eithne Henry for their assistance. Thanks also to the parents for supporting the girls and management.
The under 12 girls were beaten by Ballinameen on Wednesday in their last game of the league. Their first championship game which was scheduled for Sunday 7th May was postponed as a mark of respect to the late Mary Donohoe, Kilmore. May she rest in peace. Their round 2 match against St. Faithleachs is fixed for Ardcarne Park on Sunday next.
