“Play for Paul” Charity Match
A Charity match is been held in honour of the late Paul Higgins who passed away on the 19th April last after along battle with illness. The charity match is been held on the 4th June in Western Gaels Pitch, Frenchpark, Roscommon. The match will have selected members of Over 30’s and Under 30’s lads on the day, under age team playing at half time and also entertainment for all the family on the day. Proceeds in aid of Mater Misericordiae Oncology Ward. A follow up after-party and monster raffle (tickets sold in local shops and also on the day) will be held in The Chariot Bar in Frenchpark starting approx 9pm. Please save the date and your support would be greatly appreciated for this very worthy cause.

Our Devine and Co chartered accountants sponsored senior team commenced their 2017 championship campaign on Sunday afternoon last in splendid sunshine with a well deserved win against Boyle. Final Scoreline: Western Gaels 1-23 Boyle 2-08.

U 16 Team:
Our M Cooney & Sons Ltd sponsored U 15 team drew with St. Aidans on the U 16 league relegation play off on Sunday evening last. Final scoreline Western Gaels 3-09 St. Aidans 2-12.

Our Drury oils Ltd sponsored U14 team face Kilglass/St.Barrys in Tarmonbarry the last round of the league on Thursday evening next at 7pm. Check fixtures for confirmed times.

Our Kilraine O Callaghan sponsored adult ladies team were well beaten by St.Brigids in Kiltoom on sunday afternoon last in the league.
Gaelic For Mothers:
