Athlone Golf Club Celebrates 125 years
A large crowd attended a most enjoyable lunch in the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone on Sunday 23rd April to celebtrate the 125th Anniversary of Athlone Golf Club. Music was provided during the lunch by Patrice and Bernard Coyle . It was great to see so many familiar faces celebrating this important milestone and a great day was had by all.
Sonas Easter open Competition
There was a great turnout for the Easter Open competition and Frank McGowan (9) won the men’s competition with a great score of 47 pts while Margaret Byrne (13) won the ladies competition with a great score of 38 pts. The results in full were as follows:
