To the 34 boys & girls that participated in the Roscommon GAA & LGFA Easter Camps in Ballinlough. Thanks to all the coaches & co-coordinators.

Well done to the 18 U12 boys who travelled to Croke Park along with 3 team mentors last week. The boys had a very enjoyable trip getting to play 3 matches and also a tour of the stadium and museum. Thanks to all players, parents and mentors who travelled to Dublin. Each child who participated received a gear kit sponsored by Littlewoods. Thanks also to Connacht GAA for providing the children with such a wonderful opportunity

Roscommon Coaching and Games Development are seeking applications from suitable third level students with GAA experience to apply for position as GAA Cul Camp Coach at our Roscommon Kellogg’s Cul Camps this summer for both football and Hurling. All coaches who apply must be fully Garda vetted before commencing their employment, only students who have confirmation of their vetting will be allow to coach at our camps. Hard luck to the Intermediate men’s team who were defeated by Castlerea in the league.

Well done to the Intermediate ladies team who had a comprehensive win over Eire Og on Sunday last.

The Minors boys match V Eire Og was conceded by Eire Og on Friday evening last.

Hard luck to the U16 boys who were defeated by Clann na nGael.

The U14 boys game v St Aidan’s was postponed to a later date.

Well done to the U12 girls who had a big win over Western Gaels on Wednesday evening last. Hard luck to them when they were defeated by Oran on Sunday evening last.

Fixtures:

The U14 boys play Western Gaels on Round 5 of the league in Frenchpark on Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m.
The Junior B team face St Aidan’s on friday evening at 8 p.m. in Ballyforan.
The u12 girls team face Castlerea on Sunday next.
