The second team left their scoring boots at home on Saturday night as they drew 1-1 with Dunmore Town B. During the closing stages Cloonfad created a host of clear cut chances the best of which fell to Jack Reinhardt but he failed to test the keeper on both occasions. In the frantic last 5 minutes both Sean Ruane and Kurt Reinhardt hit the post. Daryl Geraghty had given Cloonfad a 22 min lead but Dunmore equalized 6 mins later. Dunmore looked dangerous going forward during the game and should have added to their tally as well.

The new schoolboy season kicked off last week and our u14 team were first in action. Heroics from keeper PJ Donnellan ensured they defeated Castlerea Celtic in a penalty shootout to progress to round 2 of the cup.
Fixtures
The first team finish their league campaign next Saturday away to Glen Celtic at 7.30pm while the second travel to division 2 champions Strokestown also on Saturday.
