parkrun, the free, weekly, 5km timed runs held around the world is coming to the Demesne, Castlerea with the first event scheduled for Easter Saturday, April 15th, at 9.30am.
A Castlerea parkrun will take place every Saturday at 9.30am starting from the Demesne entrance across from Castlerea Swimming Pool. People of every ability to take part; from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians; from juniors to those with more experience.
If you wish to take part you must register online at www.parkrun.ie/register/ . You will receive a printed barcode which you must print off and take to each parkrun with you. Any further queries can be directed to Patricia Buckley on 0831007140.
